More Bike Stuff

dreamsharkBiked to work and back yesterday, mostly because Friday looked at the time like the last pleasant day until next week (the forecast for the long weekend has actually improved since then.) I was a little disappointed to find that I was still somewhat tired from the Cannon Trail trip on Sunday/Monday. I made it there and back, but it was hard work.
Today I was sufficiently recovered to do a Yard Sale Morning in Kenny, which was having a neighborhood sale. 7+ miles, weather not perfect, but not too bad. Got sprinkled on during the last 20 minutes, but the air was already steamy enough that it didn't actually make much difference either way - I was already damp.
Didn't find much at the sales - a few pieces of cheap jewlery that I bought for the chains, and a pair of earrings that I might wear or might take apart and use for something else. I've been looking for a turquoise colored pendant thing to hang off a particular necklace that has never quite worked right as is.
