Help! Need electrician!

Anybody have any recommendations? Specifically, we need the type of electrician that can augment and repair the wiring in an older home without gutting the house and starting over from scratch. Meanwhile, Thorin's room is being kept alive by a long yellow electric cord trailing down from the attic.

When you find a good electrician, please let Louie and me know. We are looking for exactly the same kind of person, for exactly the same reasons.

Sharon, I've been using South Side Electric for years on my old
houses. They are very, very good however, they are NOT cheap!
If you want it done right, go with them. If you want cheap, I don't
have anyone.

I just realized that I had to "unscreen" this to make it visible. I recently started screening anonymous comments (having been creeped out by the self-described Fringe artist that commented anonymously on my Fringe reviews. Ew.) I know who you are, though, and thank you for the recommendation. I'll give them a call.
