It's my second day at my new job at Digi International. So far, I have to say that the new-employee logistics are the best I have ever seen. When I arrived yesterday morning there was a nice clean office waiting for me, with a working phone, a working computer, a drawerful of office supplies and a complimentary Digi coffee mug with a little green napkin folded into it. The corporate colors appear to be green and white. Same as Michigan State (Go, Spartans!).
Not only did I have an active computer account, there were 40 emails waiting for me! That may be carrying the "you're one of us now" thing a little too far.
We're located on the Shady Oak side of the Opus2 office park in Minnetonka. Email is in the format firstname_lastname@digi.com.
Well, enough of this! My plan for the morning is to figure out what this company makes.
