Last time I checked the Lyndale strip between Lake and Twenty-mumble is always pretty busy on weekends. It may improve in the winter but as soon as it's warm people make crowds around the doors of everywhere.

I loved having breakfast at Victor's 1959 cafe, aka the Cuban place, at Grand and 38th or so? Tasty and not expensive.
