City of Heroes - fun with macros
Jul. 13th, 2004 11:31 amFigured out how to use macros and binds to customize my keyboard. Whee! Both features allow you to bind one or more commands to either a keyboard key or a custom icon in your power tray. I'm still playing around with them, but will probably settle on a standard set of customizations for all my characters.
Of course, the first macros I created were for dancing and flirting in the plaza. Once I discovered the auxiliary power tray, which will be empty until I level up quite a few more levels and acquire more powers, I figured I might as well fill it with macros. Cher Noble's macro tray includes:
boom: pull a boombox out of nowhere, turn it on and start dancing
dance: start dancing, or switch to a different dance step if already dancing
hiton: "Hi, Super. Wanna dance?"
huh: shrug and emit speech balloon "Huh?"
go: beat chest and give Tarzan yell, then speech balloon "Let's go!"
nothing: speech balloon: "Oh, it was nothing." [use when being thanked by civilians]
old: thought bubble: "This is getting old" [use when tired of being thanked by civilians]
.. and a few others I don't recall right at the moment.
