The pool party was fantastic! Thanks so much for hosting it, [livejournal.com profile] laurel and [livejournal.com profile] kaustin! I don't ever remember having more fun at a pool party. (Of course, that's not saying much, since I'm typically in a winter depression when this things happens and not very sociable. This year I seem to be feeling better sooner.)

Much Minicon talk went on, about the upcoming 42 and the over-the-horizon 43 (which looks like it's definitely going to happen). I was also involved in CD exchanges, retirement planning, and music-listening. I never went near the pool, but I did see some people streaking around in wet swimsuits, so I guess there were some chlorine-related activities as well.

But also pretty, 'cause it's all about suspended ice crystals in the air. Here's a picture of sun dogs, although not the ones I actually saw today while driving west on the Crosstown.

I went skating, and then to CompUSA, conveniently close by. I skated backwards, although not very much. And I didn't fall down.

Apparently it's not as straightforward as I thought. [livejournal.com profile] barondave, your CDs play fine on both computer and CD player, but have no track information when opened in iTunes. [livejournal.com profile] minnehaha, yours has track information but you burned it in MP3 format. This won't play at all on an ordinary CD player and requires special handling to import into iTunes. I'm guessing that most people would like something they can play in a CD player. I checked my CDs, and they do seem to be playable on both CD players and iTunes. If there is any problem with them, let me know.

For the record, here's how I made mine )
