Fun with laptop customization - wheee

Still learning about my Little Blue Buddy, I poked a little further into the touchpad settings and discovered solid gold (only about 5 levels in from the Control Panel - not exactly obvious). Wow! Not only can you drag little sliders around to set the exact size of the virtual scroll bars, there is no end of fun to be had with the pointer controls. It goes way beyond changing the pointer speed and touch sensitivity. For me the setting that changed the touchpad from an ordeal to a joy was Momentum. Suddenly it no longer matters that the touchpad is about the size of two postage stamps. All it takes is a flick of the finger to send the pointer sailing across the screen. The Bounce Off Edges checkbox makes it just that much more fun. It's like playing pinball. Or like playing pinball would probably be if you were really good at pinball. Which I'm not. But this is actually a lot easier than real pinball.
