Well, that's a relief
Oct. 7th, 2011 11:21 pmI'm pleased to report that one of my favorite movies of all time is just as good as I remembered it, maybe even better. It's Fearless (1993). If you only know Jeff Bridges in his "Dude" persona, you may not recognize him at first. Turns out he can actually ACT, not just play the same character over and over. Rosie Perez and Isabella Rossellini are also pretty terrific. But the star of the movie is actually the script, written by somebody I have never heard of before or since: Rafael Yglesias. It's not your typical Hollywood movie.
