I just tore through the American Vandal mini-series on Netflix and loved it. I started watching it when I found myself looking forward to the next breaking news story about military pilots finding innovative ways to use their airplanes to draw dicks and had to admit that I DO think dick drawings are funny. And although I haven't actually watched a lot of True Crime Documentaries, I guess I've seen enough of the genre to appreciate the send up.  It is possible to skip the opening credits when bingeing Netflix, but I would never do that. The serious brooding drama of the credits contrasted with the nature of the crime had me laughing every time. By the last episodes I actually cared not only who "did the dicks" but who Sara Pearson actually hooked up with at camp and what went down at Nana's Party. The show kind of sneaks up on you.

Since I stole their title, I suppose I should link to the Vulture review. If you simply can't imagine why you would want to watch this show, read this review and you might change your mind.
