Babies cry real tears
Feb. 15th, 2020 02:32 pmNewborns make noise, but don't shed tears. These babies are now big enough to turn on the waterworks along with the indignant howls, which is a step forward I guess. This is Leo, who is still the one who expresses himself the most forcefully. But Harris probably fusses more these days. And both of them have gotten fussier as they approached their 3-month birthday (which is fairly typical). They used to cry mostly when they were hungry - now they seem to have a variety of complaints, with "I'm BORED!!" moving up in the rankings. About every 20 minutes you have to rotate them from one baby station to another (baby seat, swing, tummy time, back time, cuddling, sitting up, etc.)
