Apparently you can do something similar on Outlook. But I don't WANT to use Outlook.

This just totally, absolutely thoroughly SUCKS! It just never occurred to me that something as basic as the Contacts app would be so broken!

I'm hoping there are 3rd-party apps to fix this situation. I've been told there are something like 65,000 apps out there - there has to be something.
