Well, the ice is out now
I wasn't there to see it happen, sadly, since I never did get on my bike for one of those weekday evening rides I was all gung ho for. But now it's another lovely weekend and I rode around Lake Harriet again. The lake is bouncing happily in the sunlight looking like it never heard of the idea of water as a solid.
Very little sleep all week, between working long hours trying to get Caught Up and spring insomnia. Finally got a really solid night's sleep last night - went to bed at 12:30 and slept until almost 11:30. About time.
It's another gorgeous spring weekend and I'm all hyper again, running around cleaning up and organizing random little pieces of my environment. But what I absolutely MUST do this weekend is... TAXES. That, and pay the few bills that still have to be paid by hand, most of which are overdue because I hadn't cleaned out the heap of junk mail in way too long.
