Halloween Report
Nov. 2nd, 2017 01:30 pm Another home run by The Halloween Guy. Started with a problem, as always. This time the giant inflatable pumpkin that has blazed on top of our porch roof for at least 12 years declined to inflate. Of course that one is no longer made, but I found an EVEN BIGGER ONE on Amazon. It flapped around a bit in the unusually blustery weather and the guy lines had to be tightened a few times, but it stayed up. It's 10 feet tall! Yow!
Even though the weather was the coldest Halloween in 11 years, our house drew the usual crowd and more. According to Richard's candy math the number of trickertreaters slightly exceeded last year's record: 469. As usual, the neighbors were good sports, building little fires in their front yard and watching the mobs go by.
Here's a link to pictures on Google Photos, including a few from the Minnstf Halloween party (Oct 28)
