My mom gave me one, but I haven't taken it out of the box yet. My mom is 87 and she figured it out, but that doesn't mean I can. I could ask her what recipes she's made in it, though.
I don't think she had a slow cooker of any kind before, however; and that might make a difference to one's perceptions of the value of the Instant Pot.
