Well, it sounds like the answer to "Where do you get your iPhone fixed" is "the closest Apple Store." As opposed to Best Buy (where I got a new battery for a previous iPhone) or a 3rd party fixit store.
Of course the real answer turned out to be The Internet and Force Restart.
