Another one bites the dust! Kaboom!

Remember how sad we all were when the US Govt decided to deal with the UFO crisis by renaming them into the totally uncharismatic "UAP"?  Well, I was, anyway. But it worked out in the end, since we now have a new use for the term. And these UFOs are ones that we can actually shoot down! Nobody gets hurt, but they explode dramatically and send a trail of impressively flaming debris into the nearest body of water. And the first one actually turned out to be a CHINESE SPY BALLOON, totally embarrassing China and justifying our apparent militaristic overreaction. The heads of state of the US and Canada get to call each other on the hot line, scramble an effective military response, and then high-five each other afterwards. NORAD fighter pilots finally have something to do! 

I don't know why I'm getting so much enjoyment out of this new turn of events, but I sure am.
