I picked up a roll of polenta at Trader Joe's and fried some up for lunch. I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I tried a different topping on each piece.

1) olive tepanade (ground up olives, basically)
2) chunky salsa
3) hoisin sauce
4) thai curry paste

They were all good, but I think my favorite was the hoisin sauce with just a tiny dab of the hot curry paste. Mmmm.

I also had a couple of fresh kumquats, and fat-free yogurt with strawberry sauce. That seemed like a very healthy lunch to me. (I'm sort of trying to make up for yesterday, when I made the mistake of opening that package of baklava)
