Some time ago, I bought a jam of Pam's Pepper Jam (Raspberry) from the co-op. It has sat in the cupboard, untouched, until Saturday, when I decided to open it up and put it out for the house concert.
We must both be space aliens. That was a thing on the old Roswell TV show (the 1999 one). You could tell which teenagers were secretly aliens because they LOVED hot/sweet flavors together, so they were always doing things like squirting hot sauce on their ice cream.
There's one from Stonewall Kitchen that I expect is similar. Dump on a block of cream cheese, microwave for one minute, serve with fancy crackers. Tastes much more luxurious than it is.
