Saturday plans

dreamsharkJust two things to do today - three if the 2nd roofer shows up at noon for an estimate.
* set up my gleaming new Tungsten E2 Palm Pilot
* dig out some Hawaiian shirts and attend a Tiki Barbeque
Of course, before I even think about installing that new Palm software I have to back up all my saved Palm files. While I'm at it, I guess I should back up all my other files - pictures, webpages, itunes library and all. What I'm using for backup media these days is an external portable hard drive. Even copying hard disk to hard disk, it's amazing how long it takes. Astonishing, how much essential data we accumulate as soon as we have a new way of accumulating it.
It's an absolutely gorgeous day. I'll bet half the population of Minnesota is at the State Fair today. I hope so, since I'm not. All the more city for me!
