laurel was kind enough to lend us the pilot episodes of a couple of the shows that debuted this season. We just watched Heroes, and thought it was great. Intriguing premise, large multi-ethnic cast of characters, and an endearingly fannish enthusiasm for the subject. There is just no doubt in my mind that the guy who thought this up was fanatical X-Man fan as a kid. Now that we've seen the pilot, I think we can jump in and try out the real show tomorrow.

I don't know if you have cable. The Sci Fi network re-runs Heroes a couple of times each week so if you miss an episode, it's fairly easy to catch again.

Yup, she can. (Sharon, there should be a link on my rebroadcasts page which might make it an easier find than just wandering over to NBC.com though sometimes their links are obvious there-- other times less so).

Heroes is also available from iTunes ('course you have to buy the episodes there). And I believe fmsv said he could hook Sharon up with recordings of older episodes.

I don't think she has cable, but the most regular/reliable Sci-Fi rebroadcast is on Fridays at 6pm central time.
