Ides of March, belated
Mar. 18th, 2007 06:43 pmI was going to post this on the Ides, but wanted to talk to
ambertatge first. We all (me, R and my mom) had a good time on the trip to Sedona. I'm just as glad we didn't get the results of the biopsy until the day after we got home. Not good news - my mom's liver biopsy was positive. After four years cancer-free, it's back. They're still doing tests, so no real prognosis except that it's inoperable at this point. She's feeling pretty good, in fact much better than she was feeling a couple of months ago for some reason. She's planning to start chemo within the month, following the same regimen that was so effective 5 years ago. It's not going to cure her, but may buy her some time. Whether that would be months or years we don't know yet.

Date: 2007-03-19 02:30 pm (UTC)I'm very sorry to hear of this resurgence. I hope the chemo will buy lots more time.
It's good to hear that your trip went well and that your mom's been feeling good lately.
