Okay, guess we're as prepared as we're going to get

As soon as thorintatge gets back with the van, we're off to welcome in the gods of spring. We'll probably be standing near the park at the parade-entry venue. At least it shouldn't be too crowded. I'll be wearing a bright red rain jacket and (if it's not actually raining) a bright red hat with flowers. If the wind is too much for the flowered hat, I might switch to the black leather motorcycle cap.

I was there; in the parking lot near the place where the floats leave the lot and enter the park. I didn't see anyone I knew in that area.

I ran into thorintatge on my way out.

I loved the ceremony: fire! ghost animals! turtles! flying fish! water! Lots of color and humor, as usual.

It was great! The weather scared people away, but by 1pm the wind had died down and it got warmer! I brought my lightest jacket, and had to take it off during the picnic! Pictures to follow...
