Macbeth's Awesome Castle Dinner Party tonight

Richard and I have just one Fringe show planned for tonight: the 8:30 showing of Macbeth's Awesome Scottish Castle Party

This is clearly the "must-see" event of the Fringe. Anybody want to join us? It would probably be more fun with a group. Because of all the buzz, we decided to nail down our plans with reservations ($2.50 each). However, there are TWENTY-SIX showings of this thing, and it's a Monday night, so that was probably overly cautious. If you're planning to buy tickets at the door, however, I'd recommend showing up early.

Due to gaming and dinner with out of town friends, I've yet to see a fringe show. But now I'm free until Fri nite, so let the fringing begin! Tonite looks like a good nite to see the Castle Party, so I'll plan on joining you at 8:30. I think it's too late to get reservations, tho, so hopefully I can get in. I'm planning a 7:00 show, so I don't know about getting there early...

Alas, when I got there, they were sold out. No surprise, really. I'll just have to make reservations next time.

My previous show was "Stories of Cunning and Wit", at the Interact. It was storytelling by a husband and wife team, and quite good.

It wasn't that great, actually. Fun in a highly energetic and dopey way, like a Labrador puppy, but not exactly the best work that Scrimshaw and Uren are capable of. If you do decide to see it (it IS The Event of the Fringe, after all), I strongly recommend buying a beer or two on the way in. It's the kind of humor that is much improved by beer.

I'm hoping to see "Stories of Cunning and Wit."
