Skydive rained out

I just called Skydive Minnesota and confirmed that they have cancelled all the afternoon jumps because of weather. Oh well. Can't say I'm surprised; the weather looked dubious when I signed up a few days ago.

Well, now maybe I'm not. I'm not quite fired up enough to go on my own. Too much sitting around and waiting involved - need a group. I'll see if my friend at work gets another expedition together.

As for WANTING to do it - I'd sort of forgotten, but I wanted to join a skydiving club in college and couldn't because my parents wouldn't sign the permission slip. I've always wanted to fly. It's not fear that's stopped me from following up on this desire, it's the hassle factor.

Occurs to me there must be people who would like the challenge of skydiving in bad weather. There may be people who've managed to skydive during tornadoes.

There may even be people who've done it twice.
