Quiet, happy Saturday
Sep. 16th, 2007 11:04 amI had an unusually productive day. For one thing, I actually achieved my goal for the day, which was to Do Something about the lack of a lanyard for my new iPod nano. Along the way I cleaned the sewing room and plugged everything into the new outlets on the brand new 20-amp circuit, half-cleaned the office and plugged pretty much everything into the OTHER new circuit, selectively cleaned the upstairs bathroom, changed a lightbulb in my workroom and the batteries in my bike light, put some reflective tape on my bike, ordered some iPod related stuff from the Internet, did some laundry and some mending, and talked Richard into making bread (since I dont really know how to use the bread machine).
Oh, and along the way I stumbled on the perfect thing to make a temporary case/lanyard out of. It was one of those rare triumphs of packratism. Occasionally one of those potentially useful pieces of junk squirreled away in a drawer turns out to be not only the perfect thing, but something you cannot just go out and buy. In this case it was a small plastic case for a cell phone I no longer use. I'll post a picture of the lanyard case I made if I can figure out how.
