The Ice Rinks are Open

All over the Twin Cities area the outdoor ice rinks are officially open this weekend! (This is a full month earlier than they opened last year, incidentally). I was sort of waiting to see if the sun would come out and make it a little more cheery out there, but I guess it's not going to. The weather is otherwise perfect for skating - 21 degrees, wind < 10mph. So I'm going to warm up my skates and then head over to my alltime favorite outdoor skating venue - Centennial Lakes.

Well, maybe I'll have a little lunch first. I've been dinking around with my balky computer all day, and time has flown.
