I love the New Hampshire primary. I secretly dream of retiring to Vermont, but now that I think about it, New Hampshire might be better because of the primary. Also, they have the absolute BEST state motto.

I can hardly wait until the polls close to see what happened. Although I would have no qualms at all about voting for any of the likely Democratic candidates, Obama is my favorite. I would really like to have a president that was idealistic and inspirational. Although, frankly, I'd settle for a president with a brain.

Vermont is very pretty, as is upstate NY and northern NH. I tend to think of them as culturally and physically similar. The attraction to Vermont is that it's far away from everything (eg NYC, Boston and Montreal) without being too far. The attraction to NH is that it has a seacoast and is a short hop to Maine seafood. Yum.

I'm a city boy. I could live in southern NH, not too far from Boston, but wouldn't do well in the mountains. Great places to visit, though.

I've lived in Madison for over 20 years, but I was born and raised in Boston (well, Cambridge). My dad had a boss who commuted from southern New Hampshire. Such leetle states!

Right. I'm perfectly happy to sit on my couch and watch the results roll in and cheer for people or boo the others. I'm getting quite a kick out of it. My favorite never stood a chance so I feel like I can sit back and watch and pick whom ever I like at the moment. Mostly I want Obama to win but sometimes Kucinich gains or loses a point and that brings cheers or jeers. Really quite happy right now. :)
