I only died once. But Antarctica's another matter. I came into it with no medkits left and health at about one-quarter. By the time I got to JC's sanctuary my health was hanging by a thread. Oh, JC, if you can create any reality you want from ice and snow, why not give me a Medbot??? Do you want Billie to take you out? I've died 3 or 4 times now, once by greasel, a couple of times by blundering into gun turrets and military bots. Now I just keep dying at Billie's hand. What to do, what to do?

Then it really DOES all hang together! Turns out that the Illuminati are behind almost everything in the Deus Ex universe. In fact, at the point I'm at in the the game, it's beginning to look like every one of the apparently warring conspiracies are actually part of the Illuminati except for the Templars, who have their own thing goin' on. Which is pretty much how it turned out to be in the Illuminatus trilogy, wasn't it? It's been a long time since I read it.
