My new computer is ready! Yikes! I might have been ready for it, but the FIFTY-DEGREE TEMPERATURE DROP yesterday made spending time in the attic distinctly less attractive, so I still haven't got a spot set up for the old computer. It's way better up there than it was, though. At least there's room to stash it in a corner now. But ideally, I'd like to get a whole little computer/stereo lab set up, a spot where I can hook up the old turntable to one of the old computers and get some of my old vinyl records digitized.

Of course, first I have to update all backup media and locate the installation disks for my essential programs. Setting up a new computer is such an overwhelming thing...
