We had a really fun Minnstf meeting at our house last night. Technically, it was THE "annual meeting of the members" as defined by the bylaws (i.e., the Voting Meeting).
I think there were about 40 people signed in ultimately, although I didn't get a look at the official sign in book right before it left with the Membership Secretary. [livejournal.com profile] fmsv, you should have the book close at hand - what was the final attendance?

I don't know how late it went, as I crashed at about 11:30. I seem to have fallen into an early-to-bed early-to-rise pattern, which means I barely see the other people in my house any more.

It was fun! Thanks for hosting!

I never saw the sign-in book, though. Who has charge of it these days?

Theoretically Laura Krentz, in practice either of her or Dean Gahlon.

"Who has charge of it these days?"

The same person who has had charge of it for about the last 20 years, I think: Laura Krentz, Membership Secretary. The sign in book was sitting on the little desk surrounded by the new shelves where the piano used to be.

I can testify that you were at the meeting if you want to try to convince Laura to add your name to the list retroactively.

Thanks! I didn't see the desktop for the shelves that so impressed me. :)

It was a great meeting -- I had fun talking with you, and other people, and knitting, and playing a few games of Corsari. And both the oyster stew and beef stew were splendid.

I think I tottered out around 12:30 am, and Richard was just getting ready to play a two-person game of something with Will. I think they were the final remnants.

I know the feeling. Glad the meeting went well.

It was a very good meeting!

The last time I looked (a bit before 10 PM, I think), 38 people had signed in. However, there are usually at least a couple of people who don't sign in.

I have the same early to bed, early to rise, everyone else is still sleeping pattern. (Thus we remain interchangeable?)

Actually this is a pretty new pattern for me, and by "early to bed" I mean "before midnight" so we might not be on exactly the same wavelength here. Mostly I just don't sleep very well any more and tend to wake up when it gets light.

However, I was wondering if you would like to get together for breakfast or coffee on Sunday morning sometime, being in the neighborhood and all.

I count 40, including Laramie. If Erin was there, I didn't see her and she didn't sign in.

Dave told me that Erin stayed home sick.
