Spent the morning frantically generating and answering Programming-related emails. Then I went cross-country skiing with my friend Trisha at Como Park. This is a very good place for in-town skiing - they have lots of groomed trails (some of them lit for night skiing) and a rental shop. It's actually a little TOO good a spot for a nice weekend - the parking lot was completely full and we had to cruise around waiting for a space, one of my least favorite activities in the world. My lower back was tired after the first 10 minutes. Most likely that's because I went swimming on Thursday. How pathetic is that? 20 minutes of swimming and I'm tired for 3 days? But we went for 45 minutes, and I now feel virtuously exhausted.
Came home, took a shower, had dinner and listened to the last half of Prairie Home Companion while writing the names of about 100 programming items on postit notes. Now I'm listening to American Routes and seeing how many of them I can fit on a whiteboard.
Eventually I will take a break and watch some more West Wing episodes (Netflix).
