dreamsharkWhee! Found another panelist for Future in Space. Every now and then you do get something useful out of those volunteer reports from registration. (I wonder if he really is a "satellite physicist?" If not, I hope he fakes it well.)
I even checked off my list one more annoying-task-that-has-been-hanging-over-my-head. Drove over to Midwest Mountaineering to retrieve the skis that I left there to have new bindings put on and then more or less forgot about when the snow went away. It wasn't a very nice drive, what with the rain and rush hour traffic, but I got them. I wonder what was going on in that "This American Life" story I caught the tail end of. "Dad, I have to tell you something. Mom's been living a double life. She has another name, another apartment, and a secret boyfriend. Also, she's a substitute teacher."
