I voted at about 10am this morning, and it was a cakewalk. Two people in line ahead of me. According to the smiling poll worker who met me at the door, they had JUST cleared the last of the early-morning "vote before work" crowd. This is great - I think I'll do this for the rest of my life (take election day off from work). It should be a national holiday anyway.

Tip: vote now, before the "after work" crowd arrives! Now I'm off to the Richfield Obama office to volunteer my services for the afternoon GOTV shift.

I'm so excited!!! Tonight's the night everything changes!

I can't stop reading the stupid news on the web, even though I know election results wont come in for several hours. I think I know everything about everyone who stood in line today. There is no real news yet - it is like holding your breath too long! I hope I don't have to stay up all night watching the returns (like 2000!).
