Fringe is Coming!

The ever-expanding Minneapolis Fringe Festival is starting on Thursday this year... this coming Thursday! Richard and I will be Fringing again this year, and looking for other Fringers to flock with. A few shows I'm pretty sure I want to see:

Rats in the Walls - Lovecraft + the spectacular Mill City Museum! Can't miss this one!
Dario and Bario
Die Clowns Die - Joseph Scrimshaw
Google, the Musical
Amnesiac Jack

But I've really just started looking. What looks good to you?

It's hot, but it could be worse.

It's 92F with a dewpoint of 68F. Nowhere near the predicted high of 102. In fact, I see that they've already started revising the predicted high downward. I even got in an hour or two of picnic-table painting in this morning. Still, it's not my favorite weather.

However, it could be worse. We could be in Benson, where it is currently 99F, with predicted high for the day of 105F! Richard's family is having their annual Tatge Fun Day, which mostly involves multi-generational water balloon fights and croquet games in the broiling sun. I was willing to endure it if Richard insisted, but he decided it really was a little too hot for a 3-hour drive across the drought-singed prairie only to swelter in somebody's backyard for 6 hours. *whew*

I think I'll bike over to Crema for an ice cream cone. It's only a mile or so.
