A beautiful day for a bike read - a shame I have to breathe
Biked to work - on my old bike. I picked up the new one, and I think it's going to work out just fine. However, it's not quite ready for primetime. I haven't got the handlebars quite the way I want them, and I'm not used to the seat yet. I think I may swap my old seat onto the new bike, at least for the rest of this year. The new one is probably a better seat in some technical way, but the old one is more comfortable. Maybe I'll try the high-falutin' new seat next year when I start riding in the spring. Also, I need a bell. I made the mistake of taking Comet around Lake Harriet last night for a spin WITHOUT A BELL OR HORN. I'm not doing THAT again! (stupid peds).
What a beautiful day! *sniff* Is that ragweed in the air? Where's my clemastine fumarate? Oh, Minnesota. The summer is barely under way and it's fall already.
