Ready for kindergarten

It looks like Lena will be able to start kindergarten in the fall, although her Portland- area school district hasn't decided for sure what the school day will look like. They may divide the kids into 2 shifts, I guess to keep classroom occupancy lower. But at least school will open.

The school districts have been having car parades to build enthusiasm. It's working for Lena, who can hardly wait!

They grow up so fast!

Harris (7 months old tomorrow) is commando crawling!

It's not quite as cute as the Babies Laughing video, but still pretty cute. If you choose to watch this, be sure to turn on the sound. Lena's enthusiastic encouragement is the best part. Eventually, Harris decides that Lena is actually more interesting than the toy he's trying to reach and that's pretty adorable. Amber reports that after they stopped paying attention to him he went back to his original task and finally made it to the toy.
