Ready for kindergarten

It looks like Lena will be able to start kindergarten in the fall, although her Portland- area school district hasn't decided for sure what the school day will look like. They may divide the kids into 2 shifts, I guess to keep classroom occupancy lower. But at least school will open.

The school districts have been having car parades to build enthusiasm. It's working for Lena, who can hardly wait!

She's gotten so big!

Yes! I think she's almost as big as Amber was when I stayed in the Dreamspark basement and we did our doll-making project together.

Well, grown up. She's still trying to get to 40" tall. That's been her favorite dress for at least 2 years. I'm relieved to see that it is finally getting a little small on her.
