Anybody use Evernote?

It's kind of an interesting application that is hard to describe. I saw it mentioned in a review of the Acer Aspire One as one of the applications the reviewer couldn't live without, and decided to give it a try. I haven't figured out if it will be useful for me or not. It seems like the kind of thing that would be very attractive to people who have multiple mobile computational devices with web access. There's a premium version that you have to pay for, but the base application is free.

So far the only thing I've thought to do with it is to take snapshots of web page receipts for online purchases. If I'd thought of this BEFORE my recent orgy of online shopping it might have been more useful for the holiday season.

I thought it looked interesting and downloaded the iPhone app for it, but haven't put it to any use yet. I like your idea for its use and similarly, I bet it would a useful store for all those registration numbers one wants to have around but aren't really handy to keep.
