Mesmerized by Mad Men

My new favorite Netflix TV show. I just finished the first season and I can hardly wait for Season 2 to finish up so I can watch it time shifted. The penultimate episode in Season 1, "Nixon vs. Kennedy" was just brilliant. My only complaint was that the final ep, "The Wheel" was a bit anti-climactic after that. They should have ended the season with "Nixon vs. Kennedy" IMHO.

Oh, great, yet another critically-acclaimed and fan-appreciated show that I have to eventually watch whole seasons of. As if I'm not already such a couch potato.

I already have Lost, Carnivale, Six Feet Under, and The Sopranos on my Netflix queue. And that's not counting recent Doctor Who and Torchwood seasons, and a ton of anime.

Well, you're only one short season behind on Mad Men, which is in its second season right now.

You've got some good stuff on your Netflix queue. Carnivale and Six Feet Under are two of my all-time favorites. I watched a couple of seasons of Sopranos before I realized that I actually didn't care what happened to any of those awful people and stopped watching. I'm not sure there's any point in watching Lost after the fact. It's one of those shows like Twin Peaks where it's fun to be part of the cult watching it unfold a week at a time, but less exciting in retrospect.
