What else can it be? Google is down. No, I'm not kidding. No Gmail. No Google. No Google Maps. Just a Page Load Error. How can this be????

It was down for a few minutes for me also. I did my searches at altavista.

The weird thing was that google.com seemed to have briefly disappeared from the DNS database. It actually did make me nervous, wondering if a nationwide attack on the DNS core servers was under weigh. It's one thing to have The Internet say, "Google doesn't want to talk to you right now." It's quite another when it says, "Google? Google who? Never heard of them. Are you sure you typed the name correctly?"
