* Double-bed sized futon frame with up to TWO futons! Not fancy, but plenty functional. This is the old style folding wooden frame that sits down low to the floor. Let me know if interested. Otherwise it's going to charity. This weekend, I hope. I have plans for the space it is taking up in the attic.

What kind of shape are the futons in? I don't need another futon frame, but we might want another futon. (We have three frames in the house right now.)

The futons are nothing special. Not torn up or anything, but old and flat. Now that I look at them again, I'm a little confused about the size. Maybe they're singles, not doubles. The futon is about 40" wide, which seems too wide for a single, but a little narrow for a double. Maybe the futons have spread out over the years (kinda like my feet).

My folding IKEA bed frame broke a while ago and I could certainly use a replacement frame, but I would definitely need help in getting the broken frame out of my place to make room for anything new. (It's awkward and heavy and I'm not sure where to dispose of it.)

This isn't a bed frame of the type that you would put a full mattress on. It's one of those little folding wooden frames that was specifically constructed to turn a futon into a piece of furniture that you could sit on when you aren't using it as a bed. I don't think it's what you're looking for. It's the kind of thing that you would put in a spare room or a kid's room.

My IKEA bed doesn't support a real mattress, either, it's very similar to a futon, but a queen-size futon is probably a bit larger than the folding mattress that came with it. I'm not sure my bedroom is actually large enough for a full size futon frame.

Do you want to come over tomorrow and take a look at it?

Are you in a hurry about getting rid of it? Cuz I'll probably be coming over there again on Friday anyhow - and have plans for tomorrow.
