Aieeee! Mardi Gras! That means 6 weeks until Minicon!

Which reminds me to post a notice to my tiny little LJ audience that there are all sorts of wonderful potential programming items up on the Minicon Programming Brainstorm Wiki Page.  Current status - this is a list of potential items, at least half of which will be whacked before final production. We're planning to do around 40 programming items, and there are probably twice that many ideas on this page. Winnowing is starting to occur already. So...

If you think you might like to be on Programming, please look at the list now and let me know (comment here or send  email to  programming@minicon44.mnstf.org) which items you would consider being on. Items with no volunteers at all are unlikely to happen. Similarly, you can recommend possible panelists. If something is completely missing that we usually do every year, it was probably an oversight - please remind me. (Yikes!  I don't think I ever did put the Lady Poetesses up there!)

It's also helpful to know which items people would be excited about attending. If there's lots of interest in an item we'll make more of an effort to scare up participants for it. But just be aware that you may "vote" for a wonderful sounding panel only to find that it doesn't end up happening this year. Please don't take it personally.
