I just glanced at the weatherbug thing on my desktop and it's.... NINETY-FIVE DEGREES outside!!!  I was out at lunchtime and it was maybe 75!  What's astonishing is not so much that it's over 90 the week before Memorial Day - it's that the temperature went up 20 degrees in about 6 hours. And that it is apparently STILL GOING UP at almost 7pm!

Has anybody checked to see if the sun is going nova?

I dunno, maybe, but I'm still at work and the concrete beam over my head just made its scary cracking sound again. That's twice in one afternoon, never done that before...

I think I'll go outside and stare at the sun for awhile.

It's going down now, so we're safe.

If the other side gets blasted I don't see doing too well over here.

I did not see any groups calling today "The End"... The fundies must be losing their touch.

And there's some very cold weather not that far away, and high winds. I can't help but thinking there's going to be some very interesting weather somewhere not far enough away sometime fairly soon.

Yeah, really cold front meets really warm front = potential for waaaay too interesting.
