I think it's a publicity site for a new movie, titled "Godsend" that has been having incessant and irritating commercials on the Sci-Fi channel.

I trust that it's something else, and that magentamn may well be correct about what it's connected to, although perhaps or perhaps not the specifics of how.

As I just said to a friend in email, I think we live in a very weird world, and sometimes it spooks me. This is one of those times, no matter *what* the origin and purpose of the Godsend Institute website is.

imdb lists that website as a publicity website for the movie, and if you look at the picture of dr. whatshisname in the bottom corner, it looks like robert deniro to me, who is playing dr. whatshisname in the movie.

i think this site is both creepy and mean spirited, however.
