This is why we stay here - for the breakfast view.
Arriving in Cruz Bay, St. John on the Charlotte Amalie ferry Arriving in Cruz Bay, St. John on the Charlotte Amalie ferry

You can take the 45 minute taxi ride to Red Hook and spend 15 minutes on the ferry, or take the 15 minute tax ride to downtown Charlotte Amalie and spend 45 on the ferry. We always choose the latter. Water is more fun than traffic.
Creolla Villa - just arrived Creolla Villa - just arrived

Caretaker Slim was kind enough to take our picture.

We're facing east - that sunset glow is just a reflection from the full sunset over St. Thomas.

That's the only neighboring villa in full view from our deck, and they aren't close enough to make out any detail. It's a much fancier villa, but ours is up higher.

Can any HTML expert tell me why there's that big blank space before the pictures start? A blank row in the table? How can I get rid of it??

great photos

Your villa looks just as terrific as you described it. Can't wait to see the next batch of photos. Also, could you hear my wise-guy comment as we drove past you on what we call Donkey Stretch? I was trying to say "You Minnesotans, always tying up traffic!" Hope your trip home was smooth and uneventful. Just sign me.....Pam Starship

Absolutely fantas-magorical, Sharon. Looks like the two of you are having a truly special experience. And, some people actually LIVE in such beautiful places all the time. Sigh. (I love Minnesota, which has plenty of beauty of it's own, but still.......you know what they say: the water is always bluer someplace else.)
