Plugged it in and transferred a few of my favorite music folders from iTunes.
That's not really important at the moment - I bought this device primarily as a PDA. So now I have to figure out how to transfer 12 years worth of Palm Address Book to the iTouch.

Assuming you're on a Windows PC
Date: 2009-08-25 09:23 pm (UTC)Alternatively, export to vcard format and import into the Windows Address Book (which you probably didn't even know was there). Again, you lose all your custom fields and categories.
In iTunes, click on your iPhone, then go to the Info tab. Change the dropdown box for "sync contacts with.." to either Outlook or Windows Address Book. Then scroll to the very bottom of the screen and hit the Apply button.
