My most experienced character is now Cher Noble, on the Victory server. She's up to Level 7 now. It's amazing how fast you can level up once you get the hang of it. Now that she's powerful enough to knock out any random street gang without ending up in the hospital, she's concentrating on the esthetics of crime-fighting. Her dream is to learn to fly, but so far she can only hover. Hover is occasionally handy for floating over high walls and low buildings or bypassing twisty stairs, but isn't really much help in serious combat. However, it lets her take out low-level street punks in a highly entertaining way, by hovering over them (which reduces their ability to hit her with knives, baseball bats and the like) and turning on Combustion, a power that sort of radiates fire out of the pores of her skin.

I've also learned how to use the chat and emote commands, nice for hanging in the central plaza with the other Heroes. There's usually a dance party going on - which is always fun. There are 3 different dance styles, 4 if you count "Boombox". Even better is when higher-level Heroes with showy powers join the circle, adding fire effects, pulsing earthquake booms, or glowing force-fields. I think my favorite thing is the thought bubble. It's kinda fun to be dancing in a group, and float up a thought bubble that just says, "Mmmmm, that guy is hot!" or "What a jerk! I hope he's not talking to ME."

What this game needs more than anything is a clubhouse.

What kinds of options are there for character powers? Could a character get Teela Brown's power of always having luck on her side?
