1. Hitchhiked from Alaska to Connecticut
2. Rappelled down the side of a parking ramp
3. Loaded a live donkey into a Volkswagen microbus
4. Chased a moose in a canoe (I was in the canoe, the moose was in the water)
5. Spent the night in a hippie encampment in Big Sur
6. Taught a TCP/IP class
7. Seen a wolverine in the wild
8. Petted a coatimundi
9. Stood on the top of Mount Pisgah, in the Smoky Mountains
10. Drunk wine that retailed for $.39 a fifth (in America, if New Orleans counts)

I'd really like to hear the story behind #3! I've been to Big Sur, while hitch-hiking, but missed the hippie encampment.

I thought of a few more to add to my list, including touching a live tiger (when Ken Fletch got us a behind the scenes visit to the zoo.)

Closest I can come is to #7: I've seen a cougar, wild burros, desert tortoise, and iguana, none of which are always easy to find. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I've done #10 and don't remember it . . .

You're correct - I haven't done any of those. I would really like to know more about 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9, though!
