Jeeze. That's awful. And while my stuff seems like an overwhelming load when I contemplate moving it, it's a little reassuring to know that it's nowhere near that level of madness.
Oh dear, indeed. Surely not QUITE that bad? I mean, if one of the family members went missing could you imagine it taking 4 months to find them? While actually living in the same house?
And especially ew on how they're framing the woman as the hoarder; the husband just lived there, I suppose, and had nothing to do with it and no responsibility for or towards either her or the mess.
There was a similar incident in Des Moines several years ago. It took several weeks to notice the absence of the family member and find the body. I helped clean out the house. It was... unpleasant.
