R and I are supposed to be flying to California tomorrow for Thanksgiving with darling daughter, but the weather is worrisome. Given the choice between cold, blowing snow and more freezing rain, I guess I'm for the snow. Neither one seems like a copacetic situation for airplane flight, however.
Heck, I'm starting to get worried about getting home from work. Almost everybody has left, but I'm trying to finish up a few more things before the long weekend.
Is it sleeting yet out there??

Date: 2010-11-24 10:38 pm (UTC)I did make it home - and it wasn't even terribly slippery. Of course tomorrow when the temperature plummets may be a different story.

Date: 2010-11-24 11:58 pm (UTC)It seems to mostly be snowing, very locally. The forecast still firmly says "light snow mist" under current conditions and "Ice pellets" for forecast, but I haven't really seen ice pellets. And I had to take my cat out on a leaSh about half an hour ago; he insisted. It was snowing then. But highways may be a different matter.
